Russell Meadows Floral & Nature Farm is also an actual 5.5 acre mini farm in which the business is located! The design studio, (currently in the last phase of construction), is the location for many of the business functions! However, most of the year, we enjoy the outdoor environment for multiple activities such as:

• nature walks for gathering little treasures and collecting items for designs and gardens

• gardening - heirloom veggies, herbs, flowers, foliages and succulents

• planting shrubs and trees for cutting/pruning to use in designs

• growing flowers and herbs for sale, to use in designs and gardens, and for cooking

• capturing the beauty of nature in photographs and on the occasional video

• nurturing our environment with authentic practices such as composting, integrated pest management, raising a variety of animals to contribute beneficial resources, and allowing "native habitats" on the property to flourish for our wildlife friends

• Last but certainly not least, learning to stop once in a while to play and be silly or to just sit, rest, be still, be quiet, listen, learn, and absorb all of Nature's goodness!
